A FTSE 100 international FMCG group is seeking to appoint a Financial Business Analyst to assist with their ambitious growth strategy. This is a newly created role, working across a full range of disciplines and offering a high level of exposure to senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse current business performance and assist with M&A activity
- Conduct Due Diligence to produce a robust business case
- Work with business units to assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
- Prepare consolidated management reports and analysis
- Improve efficiency and automation of reporting process
- Work with the business unit finance teams to understand the business drivers and financial performance
- Produce, review and challenge financial models in support of the business case
- Manage and forecast transaction costs
- Support the business units to prepare for integration and post-acquisition handover
Key desirables:
- Professional Finance Qualification
- Experience in a Top 10 accountancy practice
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a large number of stakeholders
