A technology subsidary of a FTSE 100 business is looking to appoint a Senior Planning and Reporting Analyst to lead international business planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and long-range planning processes as part of the Group business planning cycle and support with preparing commentary and analysis for the Exec Boards
- Ownership of the planning and reporting calendar including timelines, process co-ordination and communication
- Identify, co-ordinate and implement process and systems improvements to streamline planning and reporting activities
- Develop and test market management information and KPIs and work closely with commercial finance teams on monthly results, forecasts and budgets
- Analyse business performance and projections to enable early identification of issues, risks and opportunities
- Develop balance sheet and P&L commercial finance reporting
Key desirables:
- Professional finance qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- Experience using Hyperion Financial Management or similar software
- Excel (VBA, Macros, Pivot tables)
