Our well-established and reputable client in Tring, Hertfordshire is seeking an ACA/ ACCA Qualified Accountant to join the firm on a permanent basis as a Client Manager.

This job would suit an ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with previous experience of working in an accountancy practice and managing a portfolio of clients through both accounting and audit work.

The successful candidate will be qualified and have a minimum of 5 years accounts & audit experience, including working in a Senior or Manager level.

Job responsibilities:

• Conduct initial audit file review to manager standard
• Plan and manage the audit process
• To plan, manage and review non audit assignments, e. limited companies, partnerships, accounts jobs
• To act as a point of contact for all assigned portfolio; to support the team in Partners' absence to deal with queries
• Identify cross selling opportunities within assigned portfolio
• Raise fully detailed fee notes on time
• Assist in the development of any trainees
• Ensure client satisfaction and support for continued growth
• To plan and manage portfolio completion in line with internal and external deadlines
• Review account preparation jobs to the equivalent of partner standard and attend clearance meetings where appropriate
• Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the line manager, including ad hoc audit work and projects.
