Marks Sattin are currently working with an excellent expanding firm based just North of Leeds. They are looking for a part qualified Tax Junior/Tax Assistant to join their firm.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful Yorkshire accountancy firm as a Tax Assistant/Tax Junior, with potential for progression in the future. Our client is looking to recruit a Tax Junior / Tax Assistant for their prestigious Harrogate offices located in the town centre. This Tax Assistant Job in Harrogate is suitable for a career focused Trainee Tax Accountant with a minimum of 12 months' experience of working in a public practice accountancy firm.
This Harrogate based accountancy firm has been acclaimed for innovation in their approach to business advice and accountancy services. They have had a highly successful 2017 to date, with numerous additional clients joining the firm and are now looking to grow their Tax team in order to support their busy delivery schedule.
The role would appeal to an AAT/ATT Part Qualified Junior Accountant with some initial practice experience and a strong interest in taxation. If you are keen to develop a career in tax this job could be ideal for you. Reporting to the Tax Seniors/Managers, and working as part of a team you will support in the production of Corporate Tax returns to a varied portfolio, providing administrative assistance and being an integral part of the process.
The Tax Assistant Job involves;
- Working within a team to ensure all Corporate Tax Returns delivered by due dates
- Dealing with basic tax enquiries from clients
- General client administration
- Research to support the Tax consultants
- Liaison with HMRC
