Head of Finance

Delighted to be working in a Retained Partnership with my Yorkshire Based FMCG Client who are looking for a Commercially & Operationally focused Head of Finance. This is an imperative role within the business and comes with huge responsibility and equally great prospects.

Reporting into the Managing Director, the succesful candidate will be responsible for a small finance team and will drive day to day site performance. Other responsibilities include managing and facilitating staff performance and development and ensuring departmental structure and skills are developed to meet changing job requirements; Ensure the weekly P&L and monthly P&L and balance sheet are prepared to Group deadlines in required format with accuracy and integrity; Driving improvements in factory efficiency by interpreting production information into operational action plans; Providing financial support & guidance within the site contributing fully to the continuous improvement in business performance; to enhance management understanding of financial information through provision of information and education, promoting a cost awareness culture; To contribute fully to the continuous improvement in business performance as a member of the Senior team.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified with demonstrable experience in a Senior Finance role within an FMCG business. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication, influencing and leadership skills and experience of dealing with a diverse group of people both internal and external is important as well as having a real drive to succeed.
