Practice Accountant

Marks Sattin are currently working with an excellent expanding Practice based in Leeds.

The candidate should have a general practice background with good technical skills in the areas of auditing and accounts preparation. The audit experience should be recent and up to date.

The candidate will be working with a diversity of business entities, mainly limited companies, across a range of sectors including charities and solicitors. They will be involved mainly in the preparation of statutory annual accounts and audit where appropriate. We estimate that the proportion of audit and accounts work will split evenly. Experience of Corporation Tax would be an advantage. They will also have the opportunity to undertake ad-hoc assignments of specialist nature as the opportunity arises.

The candidate will report on each assignment either to a manager or a director. We have a team of accounts/audit staff available to assist on assignments. Wherever possible we encourage the delegation of work to provide valuable practical training for junior colleagues.
