Interim Group Finance Manager

I am currently working with an engineering firm with 7 entities based across the Midlands. They are looking to recruit an interim Group Finance Manager for a minimum of 6 months and the position may go permanent if you are interested in taking up a permanent position, otherwise this can be just a 6 month interim assignment.

As Group Finance Manager you will report directly to the Financial Director and assist in maintaining a relationship with the other 6 Financial Controllers and helping prepare information on the financial results of the business, undertaking analysis to help with strategic financial planning.

The company are also looking to bring in a cloud based consolation system, therefore this will be a major part of your role over the next 6 months.

As Group Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Monthly group consolidation and preparation of the monthly group board report
• Group financial analysis
• Month end aggregation
• Monthly forecasting and producing reports for the board
• Implementing new cloud based consolidation system
• Preparing statutory accounts and liaising with the auditors
• Ad hoc projects

As Group Finance Manager you will have the following:

• ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified
• A strong technical accounting background - someone who has worked in practice would be brilliant for this role
• Experience of working in a group accounting position previously
• Engineering experience is not a 'must have' for this role
