Three month Assistant Accountant job contract, working for a Worcester based organisation
You will be joining a privately-owned market leading business, who develop solutions for their clients across a range of industries. They are an ambitious and dynamic business and as such they need professionals who seek to go above and beyond in their roles. This role is initially offered on a three month contact; however, owing to growth, they would hope for this role to be made permanent for the right individual who demonstrates the aptitude to succeed. You will be reporting to the financial controller and will act as an assistant accountant; you will be accountable for the company's expenses system. You will review, post and pay expenses and manage purchase ledger payments. You will complete balance sheet reconciliations and prepare prepayments and accruals. You will calculate currency payments, and reconcile the control accounts.
You will need experience of working at assistant accountant, or equivalent level you will hold a formal accounting qualification; experience in lieu of AAT would be given equal consideration. Experience of an ERP system such as SAP would be considered advantageous.
