There have been a number of developments throughout the organisation to support them through their next stage of growth including the implementation of a new financial system and the restructure of the team. This opportunity is created to support the Finance Manager and will offer the opportunity for someone to gain great exposure throughout the organisation.
Your role in your new job
As Assistant Accountant you will assist with the preparation of the management accounts and streamline the ledger processes ensuring accuracy and efficiencies. You will work closely with relevant heads across the organisation providing monthly and ad-hoc reporting to support operational and financial decisions. You will play an important part in monitoring cash flow, budgets and forecasts making it a rewarding role allowing room for progression.
Your experience and our requirements
You shall be studying CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA and have at least 2 years experience in a similar finance setting. You will benefit from a mentor and an environment that will offer support alongside the freedom to develop your current skillset at a realistic momentum. The ideal candidate with have a sensible career to date and will be able to demonstrate strong IT and system skills with a professional and determined work ethic.
