My client is a leading multinational FMCG organisation with a global reach. The business requires a versatile Finance Analyst to assist with data analytics and reporting within a high growth business unit. This is a critical role for the next 6 months in providing support to the Head Of Commercial Finance by taking ownership of key management reporting and planning activities. Financial data will need to be extracted and presented in a prescribed way along with the provision of analysis and evaluation support to colleagues in functions across the business.
Key accountabilities will include supporting and influencing the Sales Team, preparing annual and quarterly budgets, enhancing both business plans and models, analysing organisational risk and opportunity, providing the marketing team with spend evaluations and post sales activity data, delivering robust pricing strategies, supporting innovative brand planning and implementing new financial KPIs, Responsible for delivering high quality business cases ahead of capital or OPEX spend being signed off,
You will partner with, support and challenge the assigned client groups ( Supply chain & Multichannel) and their teams to drive operational performance, You will provide sound financial advice to enable commercial decisions to be made on the basis of that advice
The successful applicant will have a demonstrable background in carrying out successful interim assignments with relevant commercial and analytical experience. In addition to this advanced Excel skills with an ability to deal with large volumes of data and interface with the BI team are key attributes needed.
