Finance Analyst
Based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire our highly regarded and instantly recognised leading retail business is looking for an experienced, driven and ambitious Finance Analyst to join the team on an interim basis.
Ideally you will be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified with a minimum of 2 years' experience within a business partnering type role, where you will have been responsible for analysing costs, margins and improving areas of weakness. This job also provides you with the opportunity to work with Site Managers in managing costs, improving SLA's and increasing their profit margin.
Strong communication skills are essential as this job will be liaising with non-finance operations directors to help drive sales & profit growth in a region of sites by providing insight & analytical support on an almost daily basis.
Duties will include:
- Responsibility for providing financial support for a region and all operational functions
- Presenting monthly at operational meetings and providing a review of performance
- Challenging operations and helping to drive the business forward with a view to increasing profitability
- Providing detailed insightful financial analysis on a weekly/period basis
- Completing periodic investment appraisal budget adjustments
- Responsible for compiling the company Balanced scorecard each period
This is a great role reporting to the Retail Finance Manager where you will be responsible for building relationships across the region, acting as the key finance Business Partner for your remit.
