Finance Director

Client
My client is a mid-tier residential development business. They currently support a number of HA’s on a joint venture basis as well as creating a surplus through their own housebuilding division. Due to their continued growth and pipeline of work, they are looking to recruit a Head of Finance to oversee their newly created development division. In addition, this role will require significant raising of finance.

Role
Your role will be to oversee the management accounts, provide support to the Managing Director and liaise with banks in regards to existing finance agreements as well as looking at new sources of finance.

Duties will include:

• Preparation of quarterly management reporting pack for the Group
• Preparing the management reporting pack
• Execution of equity raising and new acquisitions 
• Negotiating with banks and developing relationships.
• Preparation of the monthly cash flow report 
• Supporting in the production of the Annual Business Plan and monitoring against this.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns for various group companies
• Prepare and submit Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns 
• Develop, improve and implement internal financial systems and controls to support business growth
• Ad hoc duties

Person
You will be a fully qualified accountant with the capability of dealing with people at all levels.

Offer
£105,000 basic salary, car allowance and bonus.
