You will be conducting complex audits in exotic locations, investigating revenue streams from company Licensees to ensure operating and reporting guidelines are adhered to. This position is vital in contributing towards Group success. Working in either the UK or an International Head Office this role is also open to candidates with a European background.
Your new role will include a various responsibilities such as
- Planning, executing and reporting on Licensee audits to ensure Licensees are properly reporting revenues and operating in accordance with their Agreements.
- Preparing, requesting, collating and analysing pre-audit documentation prior to visiting the Licensee's location.
- Obtaining a detailed understanding of the Licensee's key processes, systems and records and then testing to ensure revenues have been correctly reported. This may include reviews of audited financial statements, underlying accounting records, federal and state/local tax records, rental agreements and transactional history from the Licensee's systems.
- Conducting audit closing meetings with Licensee Management upon completion of the fieldwork.
- Working effectively and efficiently with others members of the Internal Audit department, as well as other departments, in conducting the audits.
- A maximum of 35% travel with the opportunity to spend time on location to explore
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be from a Big 4 background but can be flexible here. The overriding factor is that you will have an excellent understanding of audit theory with exposure to Royalty/Licensee Audit, risk management or compliance. If you have an understanding of accountancy methods this will be a bonus. Your skills must be paired with first class English communication skills both written and verbal.
