An expanding Youth orientated Charity is currently seeking a committed Financial controller to join its growing team.

You will be responsible for leading a finance team and shall oversee all aspects of finance.  This exciting role will see the successful candidate leading the annual statutory accounting and audit processes, as well as driving the annual budget setting process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of financial and management accounting for the organization as well as for the production and flow of management information to support the business.

This role will also provide exposure to projects, including process and systems work and strategic projects.

This important post is the main finance contact for internal and external stakeholders and so it is imperative the successful candidate has the gravitas and communications skills to work at a senior level.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with advanced communications skills and the ability to grow in the role.

Having experience of SORP accounting, Partial Vat and Restricted Funds accounting would be highly beneficial.
