Interim Finance Director

Partner Financial are in search of a dynamic, interim finance professional for a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, property business to cover a period of maternity leave for 9-12 months. The business high growth and a disruptor within their sector.

The business are part of a successful group along with a number of high-growth and truly innovative organisations used by diverse range of end consumers and clients. This is a broad Finance Director role covering both Commercial, Strategic and Accounting focussed activities.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Take an active role in leading and supporting the finance strategy
• Review and appraise all new and potential property investments
• Analysis of the performance of existing properties and maximising the revenue potential of the existing sites
• Evaluate finance systems and make improvements where needed
• Restructure and develop the finance team to ensure growth is facilitated
• Oversee all finance tasks including audit, risk and compliance
• Manage, lead and develop a small finance team and work closely with the Shared Service Centre
• Interpret financial data and provide detailed reporting and analysis to the Group and Investors
• Oversee and review of monthly and quarterly reports
• Review and delivery of timely statutory and management accounts
• Undertake ad hoc financial and commercial projects as required

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with significant experience as a Finance Director or CFO gained within the property or business services sector. Candidates with recent experience gained within a start-up or high growth SME environment are highly desirable. You must also be self-motivated, attentive to detail and enjoy a smaller, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
