Commercial Finance Manager

A new opportunity now exists for a 2:1/1st class graduate qualified accountant to join the team as a Commercial Finance Manager. With a remit to provide a business partnering and bid support service to Operations, a broad and varied brief includes:

•Driving preparation & presentation of monthly reporting, quarterly forecasts & annual budgets
•Pro-active commercial engagement in the portfolio lifecycle ensure commercially sound bids, effective assignment & working capital management, project risk mitigation from bid to close
•Reviewing portfolio risk to highlight issues & provide commercially robust solutions
•Leading financial, commercial & structural changes within the team
•Ownership of client reporting requirements concerning portfolio spend & savings
•Involvement in ad-hoc divisional finance & corporate projects

As a 2:1/1st class graduate and qualified accountant, you will have previously been in a commercial finance role with evidence of financial business partnering, reporting and analysis experience gained within an international blue chip environment. The role demands proven stakeholder engagement, outstanding interpersonal skills, man-management ability and the character to drive a portfolio of projects from a financial perspective.
