A market leading and internationally operating business based in Southampton require a Financial Accountant to join them on a permanent basis following a sustained period of growth.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will supervise and review various areas of accounting for the business unit, including payroll, VAT, legal and general ledger close. Due to the fact you will be managing a team of three, you will also assume responsibility of monthly and quarterly deliverables for Head Office. You will feel comfortable challenging existing controls and processes, working closely with senior stakeholders in order to implement change.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant with a strong background in financial reporting (preferably IFRS) and have previous team management experience. You will also have strong Excel skills and a desire to progress your career in a forward thinking business.
