IT Audit Manager

A FTSE 250 leisure company is bringing its internal audit team in-house and as a result has a newly created vacancy for an IT Audit Manager. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you'll take a lead in the identification, assessment and mitigation of technology risk. You'll play a key role in developing the annual audit plan then manage the full audit life cycle for assigned audits, ensuring that all audit work is completed against agreed quality standards within the specified time frames and budget. You'll partner with the business to address any issues identified, exploring possible solutions with the key stakeholders and following through to conclusion. This is a unique opportunity to help shape processes, policies and procedures, liaising directly with senior executives to promote the internal audit function and how it can support the business. Travel will be 15%, with occasional trips abroad for 1-2 weeks.

The successful candidate will be a CISA / ISACA qualified with experience of working in a Big 4 firm, or large, complex, multi-national organisation. You will demonstrate strong core IT audit skills, knowledge of IIA professional standards and understanding of up-to-date IT auditing methodologies and concepts, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
