A very reputable and globally established business based in Burnley are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. Being directly responsible for a team of 10 you will work closely with the Finance Director on the day to day running's of the finance function.
In order to be considered for the role you must be a very strong leader and not be frightened to challenge your peers as you will be working very closely with the Finance Director. This role will strongly encourage development and therefore will also suit someone who wants to push themselves to be a future FD.
Your role will be varied on a day to day basis but as well as supporting the FD you will have full responsibility for the finance team, Daily Reporting, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Regularly involvement with stock, Inventory, internal controls, Statutory Accounts, Tax.
This role will suit an established FC looking for a new challenge that will push them to FD. It will also suit an up and coming FC who is keen to learn from an accomplished FD. You will be a qualified Accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA. If this role sounds of interest to you then please send your CV
