Senior BI Analyst, SAP

An established business based in Central London is seeking an experience BI Analyst, SAP individual to join their business and be the break point between the business and finance function.

Responsibilities:

- Engage with finance and business stakeholders to work through the detailed requirements for reporting - financial and non-financial;
- Consolidate data for analytical applications and create conceptual and logical data models
- Engage with IT stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
- Work with finance, business and Global Shared Service centre stakeholders to review data and processes to ensure use of our underlying SAP system is consistent and to align processes where they are not aligned.
- Work with finance, business and IT stakeholders to become an expert in the data which underpins our management reporting and business intelligence.
- Working with IT and the business to ensure visualisation requirements are met as well as providing challenge where necessary to ensure the optimum solution is defined.
- Testing and manipulating end user reports using the visualisation tools (WEBI/AFO/Lumira) to ensure they are fit for purpose
- Helping to drive the use of visualisation and analytics of data through self-serve.
- Responsible for the design and development of data models in HANA that assimilate data from multiple sources system to effectively and efficiently solve business requirements.
- Maintains process documentation, data dictionary and other artifacts critical to the BI team's ability to accelerate report development and increases overall data structure understanding
- Working with ISIT helps to define and drive a current and future state architectural HANA reporting roadmap that ensures that all initiatives are aligned with the goals of the business

Competencies:

- Strong analysis experience with a focus on gathering reporting requirements, and designing solutions
- Global project experience, ideally within a multi-national matrix organization
- Demonstrable track-record of the design, development and implementation of SAP BI solutions
- Knowledge of SAP data structures / flows.
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter mentality with the ability to operate at a high level and drive decision making.
- Ability to lead meetings, present and communicate effectively.
- Ability to develop relationships with various business partners and diverse stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organisational change.
- Demonstrated drive to improve, learn, research, and resolve issues independently and/or with others on team
