Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Head of Management Accounts for a large organisation based in Staffordshire. Our client is offering c£60,000 per annum for a 6 month initial fixed term contract.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Leading and developing the management accountant team
- Managing and overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Being responsible for the budget and long term planning processes of the finance team
- Supporting the leadership team with financial support in relation to strategic projects
- Taking control of the quarterly reforecasts in to compare performance trends against budget
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified Accountant with a minimum of three years post qualification experience (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Have experience in leading a team
- Commercially and operationally minded
- Self motivated and confident, as well as being a strong team player
- Have intermediate Excel knowledge and other Microsoft office applications
