Financial Controller

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Controller who will be joining an exciting, diverse group of companies. Main duties of this Financial Controller will include:

• Leadership and management of the finance team, ensuring a proactive and excellent service is provided to customers and stakeholders
• Production of monthly accounts and statutory accounts
• Creation and development of budgeting and forecasting for a range of companies
• Become a key business partner to ensure strong analytical and strategic input to all projects and group activities
• Engage in and influence group wide projects and initiatives to provide a commercial perspective
• Lead the technical aspects of accounting and taxation including the implementation of UK GAAP technical changes across entities following the introduction of Financial Reporting Statement 102 (FRS102)
• Prepare the group consolidated accounts for the group
• Work closely with the auditors and ensure all final journals are reconciled to the books of account
• Leading financial reporting for entities to ensure that information is fully understood by customers and stakeholders
