Commercial Financial Analyst

Our client, a globally recognised, brand name, listed business, is currently looking to recruit a Commercial Financial Analyst on a permanent basis. The role is based in their Surrey office but they are flexible and could split the role to be based in Central London and Surrey on a 50/50 basis. The role reports to a Commercial Finance Manage who in turn reports to the Finance Director. This is an incredibly visible role and highly commercial all of which supports genuine, internal career progression.

The purpose of the role is to provide financial analyses providing commercial decision support in conjunction with the C-suite across commercial, retail and group functions within a global context. You will work with the commercial director and teams to understand performance with view to steering resources and increasing revenue and margins across all commercial areas.

The ideal candidate will be qualified or close to qualifying with a proven track record in the provision of commercial analyses; advanced excel and ability to understand and build complex models plus reporting systems exposure; exceptional communications skills and experience of dealing with senior internal stakeholders; current experience within retail/FMCG is also an advantage.
