If so, we are currently recruiting for a highly acquisitive Group that has seen its turnover and profits growing year on year. Based at their South Manchester HQ and specialising within the engineering sector, this ambitious owner-managed business is seeking a Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA to assume the position of Group Finance Director. Supporting the Executive Team, the successful candidate will have complete responsibility for the financial strategy of the Company. An appointment that is integral to the continued evolution of the Group, your role will extend from providing Group financial MI to managing the Group's risks and challenging business plans and strategy as an active member of the Board.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage the relationship with each Group business to ensure that the local finance teams provide accurate and timely reporting, budgets and forecasts. As Group Finance Director, you will provide input into policy, strategy and commercial activities. And of course, you will provide the CEO with support for acquisitions and divestments. In addition to your technical knowledge and your commercial nous, strong stakeholder management is equally as key to your success within this role. You will develop strong internal relationships, business partnering with the CEO and Commercial Director, supervising the Head Office financial output and maintaining a robust relationship network across Accountancy, Legal, Tax and Property experts.
The successful candidate MUST be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified and possess substantial PQE. You will already have operated at Finance Director level and be seeking a challenging and rewarding Group Finance Director remit. You will possess outstanding communication skills, and both technical excellence and commercial vision. Candidates with experience from within the engineering sector are of particular interest, as are those who have previously operated within an owner-managed, entrepreneurial Group structure.
