Reed Accountancy are excited to announce that they are working with an Edinburgh based accountancy practice who are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant. This role is a perfect opportunity for a strong practice candidate that is keen to take on a new and challenging role.
The Role
Given my client is an Accountancy Practice, previous experience within a similar role in an accountancy practice is essential. Please find below a brief description of the role & duties:
- Annual accounts preparation for a variety of clients including charities and small businesses
- Liaising with clients on a regular basis
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Exposure to bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Experience with Iris and Sage software
Relevant and recent experience in an accountancy practice environment is essential for this opportunity.
