Finance and Commercial Director

Our client is a globally known brand as well as one the leading retailers in the UK with a significant presence on-line. Investment is in place for the company’s expansion and will be looking for a potential sale in the medium term.

Working closely with the CEO, this is primarily a commercial role to deliver the growth strategy, review potential acquisitions and critique business performance. The position will be responsible for managing the banking, accounting and legal relationships and will lead on all due diligence exercises. The responsibilities are likely to be fast moving, varied and challenging.

We are looking for a financially qualified leader, someone who has an entrepreneurial streak, M&A experience and first class business skills. Your people skills are likely to be high and the chances are that you will not enjoy sitting behind a desk for long periods. You will have a strong presence and drive to succeed in business, comfortable with resolving business challenges and delivering results. The long term incentive plan (LTIP) is the reward for meeting developing a strategy that will lead to a successful exit for the business in the medium term.
