Elevation Accountancy & Finance are proud to be working with a well respected business in Doncaster to assist them in the recruitment of a Finance Manager. They are based within an easily accessible location with excellent facilities.

This role is responsible for the central finance team across the business reporting to the Finance Director. This role involves the production of standard monthly reporting packs,including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements. The role is also responsible for managing the central transaction processing and financial reporting team.

This will be a varied role with duties to include the following:-

*Coordination of management reporting of all financial activities across the Group, working to ensure the Financial Plan is achieved and all transactions are correctly processed/recorded
*Monitor and maintain financial controls to provide assurance to key stakeholders
*Lead and develop the Finance team based at Doncaster
*Responsible for the treasury function including production of weekly cash report. Liaising with the Group bankers including account management
*Recommend changes to the Finance Director that will improve the Group's financial performance and controls through a system of reviewing accounting procedures and processes
*Prepare the Group VAT return and advise on VAT issues
*Coordinate and lead on the annual budget planning process including trend and budget analysis
*Act as the primary representative for the Finance function in the absence of the Finance Director
*Ensure accounting practices comply with relevant accounting standards and that Group procedures are followed
*Work collaboratively with and act as a key contact between operations and the central Finance function. Building relationships to ensure a common understanding is achieved.
*Support the income generation pipeline process and provide local finance input into the bidding process
*Ad-hoc duties to support the finance team

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

* ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified qualified accountant or for exceptional candidates 'qualified by experience'
*Resilience and tenacity

*Demonstrable evidence of engaging internal and external stakeholders
*Strong and compelling communicator, able to translate complex concepts into simple terms
*Forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis
*Month end accounting, including prepayments and accruals
