Head of FP&A

A massively multi-site PE backed retail business is looking to hire a Head of FP&A to join the senior management team and provide a high level of commercial support to the wider business. The ideal candidate will have extensive acquisitions, forecasting, and financial modelling experience.

The business is going through a strong growth period and are looking to continue their buy and build strategy as they solidify their position in the market. For this newly created role, you will be required to be hands-on and to set up the FP&A function from scratch while preparing detailed financial models and analysis to build strategic plans for the business that will facilitate future growth. Working closely with the private equity backers and senior management, your aim will be to enhance value across the business and provide comprehensive reporting/analysis, as well as strategic insight. The successful candidate will also have experience building and managing a team.

The ideal candidate will be a late mover out of practice, preferably working in transaction services, deal advisory, restructuring, or corporate finance with significant hands-on commercial involvement. Our client will also consider candidates who have grown FP&A functions from scratch.
