Accounts Assistant

If you are seeking an entry level accounting role this is a wonderful opportunity to work in a small, yet well regarded private equity backed American logistics business that works with numerous blue chip companies as clients. Working closely with the Management Accountant and the Finance Director you will be given exposure to the full finance function that will enable to progress with your accounting career.

The key responsibilities of this role are as follows:

• Working closely with the Management Accountant with regards to the month end process.
• Monthly journals, pre-payments and accruals.
• Sales invoices.
• Bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Ad-hoc reporting duties at the discretion of senior management.

For key requirements for this Accounts Assistant role are as follows:

• To be educated to an undergraduate level; candidates with a accounting/finance based degree will be preferred.
• To be able to work under pressure and to meet numerous deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• To be studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA).
• Strong Excels skills.
