Robertson Bell finance are working with a leading Housing Association based in Kent to recruit an Interim Head of Finance for a minimum period of 6 months. The role joins the stable team during a period of growth and has the potential to become permanent following the initial contract.
Reporting into a knowledgeable Finance Direct who is keen on developing internal talent, the main responsibilities of the Interim Head of Finance are as follows:
- Lead on the production of the annual statutory accounts for the group and 4 subsidiaries.
- Ensure that the organisation is fully prepared to begin the year end process and for it to run as smoothly as possible.
- Manage a team of 10 part and fully qualified accountants across Finance.
- Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and ensure that internal reporting for the SMT is to the required standard.
The successful candidate will preferably be a fully qualified accountant (CCAB) although being Qualified by Experience will not rule you out. You will have strong experience of both leading a team and leading on a recent year end process in another Housing Association. You must be immediately available or on a short notice period to be considered for this role.
