I am currently recruiting on behalf of a global, Manchester based business as they require additional support within their AP team to manage all associated supplier queries. This role will further support the team to ensure that all of their blue chip clients are paid within agreed terms.
This role will suit a professional and team focused candidate that preferably comes from a larger business background and has strong query resolution exposure.
Job Description:
- Manage all queries for a large database of suppliers ( This will be via email and telephone)
- Support the larger team to ensure that all invoices are processed accurately to avoid any delays in payment
- Manage relationships with both internal and external business stakeholders
- Ensure all processes meet company compliance
- Reporting on any queries that require escalation
- Checking and reconciliation of complex supplier statements
- Supporting with systems and process improvements
- Any further associated Accounts Payable tasks
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a larger business environment
- Excellent query resolution and troubleshooting skills
- Experience of liaising with direct and indirect suppliers
- High degree of attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Time management skills
- Ability to work well as part f a team
- Previous use of SAP is highly advantageous yet not essential
- Ability to start immediately or on a reduced notice period
- Ability to commit to the entirety of a 12 month period ( This role is highly likely to convert to a permanent role but will initially be a 12 month contract)
