Financial Controller

My client is a residential property development business based in West London. Due to high levels of growth, the CFO is looking for a number two to control the treasury side of the business as well as overseeing the production of all statutory and management accounting requirements.

The Treasury and Financial controller will;

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Have experience of working within a property business
• Have experience of manging a qualified team
• Have cash flow management and forecasting experience

Responsibilities include;

• Maintain and manage the short-term liquidity position of the Group, taking responsibility for all bank account processes.

• Preparation of Short Term Liquidity Forecast for presentation to the Management Team

• Forecast Banking requirements and ensure the availability of debt capital to meet Business Plan demands.

• Prepare quarterly banking reports including covenant certificates and presenting regular updates to financial partners.

• Manage and review the production of consolidated Management Accounts of the Group and individual Management Accounts for each Joint Venture for presentation to the Management Team.

• Manage the production of statutory accounts at all levels of the Group
• Ensure the Group maintains the appropriate levels of insurance across all areas of business.
• Manage 6 direct reports (management accountants and AP clerks)
