Financial Analyst

Ignata Finance are exclusively working with a blue-chip business located in Brighton for the recruitment of a Financial Analyst. This role will initially be a temporary assignment which will be available on a permanent basis for the right candidate. My client is looking to hear from candidates who are available at short notice with previous experience of working within an analytical role. Reporting to the financial controller you will be tasked with analysing large quantities of data, producing financial reports and providing commentary.

Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:

-          An intermediate working knowledge of excel which must include experience of pivot tables and vlookups

-          Experience of analysing large quantities of management information (e.g. KPI’s/Sales)

-          Previous business partnering experience would be an advantage but not essential

-          Previous experience of working for a larger business is desirable

Key responsibilities:

-          Analysis of sales and key cost drivers

-          Production of the monthly actuals

-          Assist with the monthly budgeting and forecasting process (when required)

-          Assist with tracking business performance

-          Identify any risk

-          Analyse of MI, variance analysis and providing commentary

-          Maintain financial controls

Use of Excel and PowerPoint
