Tax Accountant

Tax Accountant required for multi-site leisure sector client offering a superb working environment and excellent benefits package.

Whilst reporting to the Financial Controller for Tax and Financial Accounting the Tax Accountant will have a broad remit covering Direct and Indirect Tax as well as strategic tax planning and playing a supportive advisory role in future mergers and acquisitions

This role has a wide scope and therefore represents an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Tax professional making a first move into industry from one for the larger practices with a desire to gain a strong working knowledge of Tax across a leading mulit-site business.

Duties include - although not essential that you have covered all areas:

Corporate Tax and VAT, share scheme and benefits, Advisory around mergers and acquisitions, Tax forecasting, identifying and executing Tax saving opportunities, liaison with authorities, advising different areas with the business to manage cost control and minimise risk

The ideal candidate will be either ACA, CTA or ACCA qualified and could be a candidate looking to make a first move into commerce and industry or equally a Tax Accountant with a specialism in one area of Tax looking to gain a broad working knowledge of Tax in a supportive environment.
