SF Group are currently recruiting a Group Accountant for our Warwickshire based client on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a forward thinking business where there is excellent potential to attain a bonus of up to 15% plus enjoying a whole host of benefits.
This exciting opportunity will see you be integral in leading and providing accurate, timely and relevant statutory reporting and management accounts for the Group to meet statutory and regulatory requirements and achieve strategic business goals.
Ideally, you will have experience in adhering to strict KPI's and be able to ensure that all financial information, statutory accounts and control accounts are rolled out in accordance with strict deadlines. You will lead on the production of statutory accounts for all entities in the Group and will maintain an up to date knowledge of accounting standards, regulations and statutory accounting and disclosure requirements. You will lead on the production of accurate and reliable monthly financial information for the monitoring of performance by the business partners and lead on the preparation of regulatory financial reports, including the completion of quarterly regulatory returns.
You will manage a team of up to 8 staff members and be able to motivate employees to achieve targets. Furthermore, you will lead the development of the team and positively embrace change and collaborate with other managers to provide innovative solutions to problems.
As the ideal candidate, you will be qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ CIPFA/ICAEW) and have strong experience managing teams and possess strong experience in preparing statutory and management accounts. You will be an advanced user of excel and you will be able to provide concise information to a variety of stakeholders. You will have the ability to prepare concise summaries of financial information and drive to continually improve processes. You will build strong working relationships with key internal and external finance stakeholders.
As the ideal candidate, you will hold a Tax qualification or recent relevant technical VAT training and have experience of dealing with VAT, Trust tax, Corporation Tax.
