This Finance Manager job in Leeds is working for a large global professional services company. This Finance Managers job will be working closely with the Head of Finance to ensure strong group reporting and robust finance controls across the UK and European Businesses.

 

This Finance Managers job is a god all round role with exposure to looking after the Group Reporting, Financial and Statutory Accounts as well as the Management Accounts and Commercial parts of the Business. You will also be responsible for managing a small team of Assistant Management Accountants

 

In terms of progression this role will evolve quickly over time as more entities and reporting for the group is brought into this central finance team

 

 

 

Duties Include:

 

  • Delivery of the monthly Management Accounts and month end Group results
  • Balance Sheet and P& L Analysis and production
  • Ensure all monthly journals posted and authorised correctly
  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts
  • Management of a small Team of Assistant Accountants
  • Implementing and reviewing financial controller across the business
  • Being the Face of Face for any Senior Management Team
  • Balance Sheet review and analysis
  • Key day to day contact point for the auditors
  • Group Consolidated Accounts across all business entities
  • Production of Year end to tight deadlines
  • Commercial reporting and delivery of Monthly Results
  • Quarterly Financial Accounts
  • Management of the treasury function
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Reconciliations and controls specifically around provisions and Cash

 

 

 

The Ideal Candidate will be

 

 

 

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with demonstrable experience
  • A broad range of experience is ideal with a Strong technical knowledge and strong Financial Control experience
  • Working across complex entities, systems and countries across the group
  • Experience of working closely with senior Management team in Finance and non-Finance stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness with the aptitude to influence people with strong diplomacy skills
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage conflicting timescales and multiple projects
