Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant for an international manufacturing and distribution business with a European head office in Rotherham.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a new role that has been created due to the expansion of the UK business. It is an exciting opportunity as the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the parameters of the role and essentially make it their own.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparation of the monthly management accounts for multiple sites
Accruals, prepayments and journal entries
Management of the fixed asset register
Budgeting & Forecasting
Variance analysis
Costing and supporting with the quotation process
Business partnering with senior managers and supporting their decision making
Providing financial input to a range of business wide projects / initiatives
Assisting with the year-end process

Essential Criteria:
Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or qualified by experience
Previous experience of preparing management accounts
Strong communication skills
