EMEA Tax Manager

Blackwaters is recruiting an EMEA Tax Manager for a global IT business in Uxbridge, looking forward to a period of restructuring, integration and transformation.

The EMEA Tax Manager is primarily responsible for compliance with all relevant tax jurisdiction laws. In addition, the position is responsible for all monthly/quarterly/yearly tax related closing activities for group reporting purposes as well as for statutory purposes. Besides, the Tax Manager independently manages country specific matters and assists in group wide tax related projects

Responsibilities;

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws
• Manages monthly/quarterly/yearly tax related closing activities for group reporting purposes as well as for statutory purposes
• Support the business and its development from a tax perspective
• Independently manage country specific objectives and assist in group wide tax related projects
• Communicate with (local) tax authorities
• Liaise with external and internal (audit) teams and to ensure timely delivery of audit requests, including statutory audits and tax computations both current and deferred as well as declarations
• Support the implementation and development of group wide accounting and tax systems
• Develop, maintain and improve SOX compliance for tax functions
• Participate in SOX documentation and testing
• Work with management to develop information for risk assessment and to prepare efficient decision making

Requirements

• ACA/CTA qualified
• Significant tax experience from a multinational enterprise or consultancy
• US GAAP / international accounting experience preferred
