Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

Our client, a high-growth and well-funded, consumer lead business, about to embark on its second phase of expansion across the UK, is looking to source a bright, engaging and ambitious Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join its talented team.

In this newly created position, you will be given full autonomy to shape the role as the business continues to evolve, predominantly supporting all aspects of trading. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will be part of a top calibre team, working in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment.

Main duties include:
* Take ownership for providing commercial insight & analysis to drive business improvements
* Working with analytics tool, developing a test and learn approach to change and fully utilising "Big Data"
* Conducting trend and operational analysis to support decision making including "what if" analysis
* Site level planning, target setting and labour planning
* Providing commercial challenge and insight into sales, stock, proving and margin
* Adhoc analysis as required

Skill and experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Proven track record in a highly analytical, commercially focused role
* Motivated self-starter
* Strong communicator and capable of building relationships with a range of stakeholders
* Confident working with large volumes of data and turning into actionable insight
