Financial Controller

A Management Consultancy requires a Financial Controller to join their flourishing business. Based in Central London, you'll be in charge of a team of 4, made up of qualified and non qualified finance professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global company generating over a billion pounds on a yearly basis. With a great blend of technical and commercial duties, the successful candidate will need broad experience. The work environment is dynamic, fast paced, demanding but highly rewarding.

Role Responsibilities -

• Managing a team of 4 in Finance - These duties will include providing leadership and mentoring in all aspects of finance and other commercial departments
• Controlling the Finance Function - producing monthly management accounts
• Managing the companies cash flow and treasury function
• Project accounting tasks such as cost and variance analysis
• Overseeing the transactional side of the finance team
• Accounting matters i. audit systems and transfer pricing
• Taking control of the commercial business activities. Client proposals, tenders and insurance.
• International sales taxes, payroll and corporate tax management
• Preparing annual accounts
• Reporting on deadlines to the overseas group
• Overseeing all banking responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact for the organisations Auditors and Tax Advisors
• Working closely with the Managing Director and Finance Director to implement and form strategic business plans
• Ensuring the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding all the company's affairs
• Company secretarial duties

Candidate Requirements -

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or equivalent) qualified
• Experience using Navision is necessary
• Experience operating as a Finance Manager/Financial Controller in a group business environment
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the business i. providing financial and commercial advice to non finance staff
• Relevant industry experience would be beneficial
• Ability to challenge the status quo
• Flexibility in travelling. This role will require travelling
• Multi currency experience
