Interim Accountant

Local division of UK manufacturing company based in Edmonton ,North London requires an experienced Accountant for 3 to 4 months to work in a small office together the operations manager and Financial Controller. The company are in the process of relocating and restructuring and duties will include :

• Year End Audit assistance - KPGM
• Month End Accounts - Accruals and Prepayment
• Ad-hoc Reporting
• Trade 2 (financial system) - provide support where needed - reviewing Opps Reports
• Account Receivable support, where needed
• Invoice coding and distribution where necessary
• Can chase other stakeholder in the group

Must have/be:

• A thorough understanding of accounting principles and transactional processes
• Excellent excel skills
• Part-qualified accountant as minimum - the further through qualification the better
• Good communications skills
• Good system skills - can learn new system quickly
• Flexible and adaptable to work on different tasks
• Good attitude towards work and attentive to detail
• Ability to follow tasks through to completion
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Being proactive, in a constructive way
• Trustworthy with high integrity
• Immediately available to start within a week
