Job Title - Qualified ACA / ACCA Financial and Treasury Accountant

Our Client based just off Deansgate is looking to appoint a Qualified ACA / ACCA Financial and Treasury Accountant. This is a new role for our Client and has come about due to an internal restructure,

Reporting to the Finance Controller this is a role for a strong character who can work unsupervised and who can also manage two Part Qualified Assistant Accountants.

Our Client has specifically requested that we appoint an a Candidate who is either currently working in Practice and would now like to make a move into Commerce and Industry or who has perhaps made a move into Commerce and Industry and is looking for a more relevant role.

The role is a very hands on role and is one where you will be expected to challenge Auditors and Internal and External Line Managers. You will also required to travel to the USA once a Quarter for a Week.

The role will requires the following focus;

• preparation of detailed and complex Financial Statements and supporting Year End Statements
• you will play a central role in the Audit process (September)
• preparation of UK GAAP
• preparation of detailed notes to be included with Abbreviated Accounts
• preparation of detailed Cash Flow which will then lead onto the Treasury Management you will take direct responsibility for the management of short term investments
• daily supervision of your staff across AP /AR / VAT and General Accounting

Our Client has confirmed that they require us to meet each individual selected for interview face to face. Interviews with the Client will be held in the first week of April. There will be a second interview with the Finance Director.
