To support & enable growth, highly respected medium-sized independent firm seeks a Client Manager.
The Firm:
Growing Independent's success is based on highest quality client service.
The firm is currently having to turn - away business as it will not compromise service levels to boost turnover in the short-term.
The 'engine room' of the firm is highly efficient in servicing clients compliance needs. However an additional Client Manager is required to lead client relationships & 'bed-down' new clients; ensuring high quality of service.
Very successful firm, c £2m t/o, the firm concentrates on good quality clients (usually fees of at least £10k per annum). Recent Investors in People accreditation gave lots of feedback from staff, which was overwhelmingly positive. The firm have a great track-record for carer development, with all Partners joining the firm at non-Partner level. Average tenure for staff in the firm is c 8 years.
The role:
The successful applicant will be allocated a portfolio of clients.
You will be the 1st point of contact for your client portfolio, this role is reporting directly to the Partners.
Liaising closely with, the efficient & established teams of assurance, tax & outsourcing departments you'll coordinate the delivery of high-quality services to your clients.
You will run meetings with prospective clients often in collaboration with the Partners, generated from the many enquiries the firm are receiving.
In line with the importance of the role, the firm envisage that a successful Client Manager will progress to Director / Salaried Partner level.
The Person:
Qualified candidates who have enjoyed client responsibility within another firm of accountants.
There is some flexibility as to the level of experience of candidates. Ambitious Seniors to established Managers are welcome applicants - all must relish client responsibility & client communication.
The firm are open to candidates from either accounts, accounts/audit or tax backgrounds.
