Description
The role will be to deliver alongside others in the accounts production team to deliver self assessment, partnership and limited company accounts and tax returns. The role holder will issue draft accounts to the client after their own internal review.
Once approved by the client, the work will return to the role-holder for final amends as and filing with appropriate tax/company bodies.
The role requires the individual to work diligently, confidently and under their own initiative to support a fast paced and varied workload of accounts and tax preparation. Only individuals with substantial experience will be considered.
This person will not be expected to draft any self assessment or limited company accounts. The focus is very much review of the numbers and getting approval with the client. The role holder will provide guidance to the production team to improve the process of creation of accounts.
Profile
o Qualified (ACCA or ACA) with 2+years post qualifications
o Ability to use IRIS/Taxcalc software
o Can communicate positively and effectively to colleagues and clients
o Has a keen eye for detail and accurate with their work and the assessment of others' work
o Review of accounts and supporting clients to understand the numbers
o Make amendments to limited company accounts and submission to Companies House & HMRC
