Senior Revenue Accountant

My client, one of the most exciting businesses in the North Kent/ Greater London area, is currently looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their Finance Team during an exciting period of growth.
 
Reporting in to the Group Financial Controller, this is a pivotal role within the department, responsible for group accounting and analysis of the group wide revenue.
 
The role requires a candidate who possesses good knowledge of Financial Accounting and revenue recognition. You will be a qualified accountant and be 3-5 years PQE.

• Accounting for trading revenue
• Accounting for trading costs i.e. commissions
• Drawdowns
• LLP account management
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Other Income – Trading Related
• Account revaluation
• Finance application testing

With support provided by the Operation team, the Senior Revenue Accountant will oversee:

• Model new rebate scheme
• Chase outstanding rebates
• Prepare & post rebate journal entries
• Rebate reconciliation and variance analysis
• Review rebate models to ensure accuracy
• Preparation of month end rebate accruals
• Go to person for rebate related queries
• Finance application testing
• Update and maintain Rebate documentation
• Develop close working relationships with key stakeholders; Clearing houses and exchanges in order to monitor payments of rebates.

Use database application and tools.  The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, someone able to deal with stakeholders at all levels and have an understanding of working in a multinational environment and this role is offering career progression.
