Our client is a subsidiary of an instantly recognisable brand and a market leader in their specific sector. They are seeking to add a technically strong qualified individual to their existing finance team. With overall responsibility for managing the accounting and reporting function you will also be responsible for supporting the business with IFRS accounting guidance. In addition to the technical aspects of this position you will also assist with monitoring internal controls and processes; provision of complex analytical information; reviewing and delivering process improvement plans; coordination of budgets and forecasts.
As an individual you will be ACA qualified with strong post qualification experience gained from a variety of environments. Specifically with exposure to highly technical aspects such as IFRS, FRS102, IAS17 and the new IFRS 16 standard. An understanding of IAS 10 pension standard is also an advantage. You will have a strong team ethic and also be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership of situations. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
