Assistant Accountant £28,000 - £33,000 plus study

Your new company
You will be working for a long established business based in Farnham, Surrey. The company invests in the development of their staff from within, through a supportive environment. They offer a great package, with on site parking.

Your new role
As assistant accountant you will report into the senior accountant in a team of 8. You will be liaising with them regularly and supporting them, with budget control and forecasting. Therefore you will need great communication skills, and the ability to communicate to both finance and non finance professionals.

What you'll need to succeed
Along with studying for a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/Equiv) with an aim to complete, you will have previous experience of budget/forecasting and the control around this. You will have at least 2 years working within finance, and have a focus to build a career within this area. Above all you will have great communication skills both written and verbal, and be able to push back when communicating financial information to non finance. Strong Excel skills are also essential.
