Hays are excited to be working in partnership with Tradebe who’s head office is based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. They are currently recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Administrator to work two days a week initially, which will then increase to three days a week starting in the summer.

The Payroll Administrator will support the Payroll Manager with monthly and weekly payrolls. Manage absence administration, and transactional HR administration and produce monthly reports. Proven experience in Payroll is essential as well as maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times and being able to work independently but also be part of the team.
The ideal candidate will have general understanding of HR principles, good understanding of standard UK benefits e.g. Healthcare, pension, holidays etc. and knowledge of Sage-SnowdropKCS – payroll input, reporting, would be an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided.
General understanding of HMRC regulations, tax codes, dispensations, RTI, salary sacrifice schemes will be advantageous. A good level of Microsoft Excel skills such as Vlookup and Pivot tables are essential, also being able to use spreadsheets, formulas, functions, tables etc. including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Powerpoint. You will also have good analytical and communication skills and be able to explain tax information in a straightforward manner. Be flexible yet reliable and take initiative and be pro-active.
