The Tesco Sourcing team is at the leading edge of Sourcing strategy, Cost Modelling, Commodity Sourcing and Price Risk Management in the Retail sector. As a Supplier Economics Analyst, you will play an integral role in that team. The role provides a unique opportunity to grow in a fast paced environment and help to reshape the way we work with suppliers, manage risk and drive efficiencies across the business.

Main Responsibilities
- Data management - data gathering, validation and integration
- Cost analytics and modelling to inform retail pricing decisions
- Engaging with internal buying teams
- Presenting to suppliers the reasons and benefits of cost models
- Reporting project status
- Supporting compliance to Tesco commodity framework
- Reporting performance of the buying area versus commodity markets
- Ad hoc admin tasks
- Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and handover protocols and successfully completing all my training so that I have zero GSCOP breaches
- Ensuring all agreements are recorded in writing, reporting GSCOP complaints to Legal within 48 hours of receipt, and leading a culture of compliance within my team
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
Ideal Candidate
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with professional experience in a commercial environment or an analytical/financial background. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Maths, Finance, Engineering or equivalent.
