Semi Senior Accountant

An independent and hugely respected chartered practice have a newly created role for an AAT studying / recently qualified Semi Senior. The practice have seen a significant and continued growth in their client base which has resulted in the requirement for a talented and ambitious new member of the team.

The role will be extremely varied and you will have exposure to a very diverse client base. Short term your focus will be accounts preparation / bookkeeping and potentially off site management accounting and Sage training. Longer term the practice can be flexible in terms of you career path and you may have the opportunity to step into specialisms of audit / tax / advisory if it would be of interest.

You will ideally be:

AAT qualified or part qualified and currently working in a practice environment.
Able to demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of debits & credits.
Experience in Sage (ideally). Knowledge of Xero would also be an advantage.
A team player with an outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
Comfortable speaking to and meeting with clients.

As you progress your role and salary will develop and you will have the opportunity to go onto further study if required.
